I don't know about southern California but here in Mississippi that sounds like our normal summer weather (summer going from around May - October). Morning temps average 72-75 then get up in the mid 80's to 90's by late afternoon. I think you just acclimate to it. That's the only answer I can think of actually. Did you say you ride when it's 15?
