Well Patrick, I love the desert and have spent some long vacations in
the SW, but when people come up with this dry heat argument, all I can
say is, "The inside of my oven is dry too, but i don't want to stick
my head in there!"  During camping trips in NM, AZ. & Death Valley, I
found I didn't move much after noon.

If ( when & soon) I retire I think I'll start riding at about 5:00 AM
during this kind of weather.
