I am (6ft, 89PBH) another advocate for drop bars with their many hand
positions and the ease to body shift for differing effort or
aerodynamics. My current favorite is the Noodle I have three bikes
with 46cm Noodles, and one with 44cm and wish the ratio was reversed.
I have a Priest bar on my 3speed and a typical mtn bike bar on my
typical mtn bike, but get weary of the one hand position. I tried an M-
bar on my Allrounder for 2+ years, but found it limiting for rides
greater than ~20 miles. But your view on bars will likely vary
considerably from mine. Thats what keeps the bar manufacturers busy.

I have 2 used Nitto 135 Randonneaur (width: 38cm tops, 45cm drops)
http://sheldonbrown.com/harris/handlebars/index.html#handlebarsdrop ,
and 2 Dream Bars 44cm for sale. Each $20 plus actual shipping, or 2
for $35, or all 4 for $60 shipped. Some scratches no hard use.
