No but they have gotten diarrhea... In all seriousness though Jim Mather is
right, not everything works for everyone and people should be open to
trying new things and experimenting.  What works for some might not work
for others. I always think of Jack Lalanne who I looked up to as a paradigm
of being in shape but he kept up a regimen few could live up to and was in
amazing shape until the day he died.  Waking up at 4am to exercise sticking
to his strict diet is a standard not a lot of us can live by.  I personally
wont be checking out the reviews of this book since those places are where
trolls love to come and throw their stones and all they want is people to
read their vitriol but I support any actual author that wants to challenge
something, its never bad to have a dissenting opinion on a popular trend.
