Awkwardness granted, but I also note that the second part of 1.6.6
allows for adding a note providing the "intended" transcription as well
as the option to record the intended readings as variant titles.


Could the full text of the rule then be viewed as a way of "covering all
bases" of an admittedly tricky transcription?
