Agreed, at least for for the core* 336 and 338.  But if the standard
term "online resource" is in 338, what does it matter whether
"streaming video", "website", "computer game", or whatever is in 300,
as opposed to repeating the term from 338?

Presumably 338 would be the target of any machine search, not 300.

Saying "online resource" in 300, and hiding "streaming video" in a
note would be as bad as some presently saying "videodisc" in 300 and
hiding "DVD" or "Blu-ray" in 538.  Both AACR2 and the version of RDA I
read allow common usage terms in 300 as SMD/unit name.

*The term "computer" in optional 337 is both misleading and
inaccurate.  Patrons think of "computer" as equipmnet, and an
increasing proportion of electronic resources are not used via a
computer, but rather a hand held electronic reader.  ISBD's Area 0
"electronic" is far better.
