UGH!  

Having been a 4D guy myself, I wouldn't dream of going back. Their core
language is stuck in the middle ages.

If its database centric client server work and if only working on Windows, I
cannot think of a better toolset than PowerBuilder. Their Datawindows kick
ass.  Unfortunately the core oo language hasn't kept up with the times, and
it is still used in interpreted mode = although these days - for most IT
uses this really isnt an issue thanks to todays CPU speeds.

In my mind, the only missing from RB being a perfect IT RAD client-server or
web DB tool is something equivalent to DataWindows.
