Putting this into perspective though, Codewarrior persisted for some time after that purchase, didn't they? We wont know all that went wrong but, I would guess they didn't make the most of opportunities that came along. I believe they had versions for PlayStation and even Aibo, and there was a whiff of a PowerPlant for Windows. This was all well in advance of Eclipse.
