Please give the forums a chance.
Sorry Dana, most people are simply not going to give the forums a chance because they have already told you why and you have not addressed their issues! Forums are simply inferior the NUG and that is why people are here! We will not move over for the promise of vaporware. You are killing a valuable resource without valid reasons and we don't like it at all.
We are looking into options to improve them to work as best for everyone as possible.
Vaporware, vaporware, vaporware.
In addition to consolidating information, we have also had some issues on other mailing lists where vacation messages were auto-responding hundreds of times to the list overnight. Not only did we receive complaints about this, but we were also temporarily marked as a spammer, causing some people to not receive messages from us. These messages included lists messages and other emails we were sending - license keys, etc.
So with your orignal post you lied to us about your true intentions why you are cutting off the NUG. The truth is you're irritatated at the support issues and consolidating the information is really smoke screen which you guys thought would sound palatable to us. Instead of fixing the problem, you took out a shot gun and blasted the baby and then lied to us to make us feel better about baby guts being splattered all over our faces. The NUG is an extremely valuable support resource. The reason you stated here are not valid business reasons. Geez, go out and buy another domain name like "www.realsoftware.net" and put the list server under that email umbrella to separate out it out from your regular email. Problem solved. This decision must be reversed!!! _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> REAL Software has decided to consolidate this mailing list with the online Forums. On Monday, February 12, 2007, this mailing list will no longer be active. We encourage you to continue your REALbasic and REAL SQL Server discussions on the Forums.
