Thanks for the insight. One thing I did as a newbie to Redhat was to
move my tmp directory to /usr/tmp to take care of space issues. While
this works fine in FreeBSD, and seems to work fine on my system, I
wonder if this will lead to problems down the road with my Redhat
system?
