Hi; I d'l'd RH72, burned the isos, installed it according to defaults, everything appeared normal, but then Gnome doesn't come up (and I installed it twice). Hmmm. Then I can't bring up eth1 until I change BOOTPROTO to static. Hmmm. Then I can't mount the CD that installed RH. Okay: I've had it. This must be a hardware problem. Any last thoughts? BTW, this all started because I followed your good advice to build a box at home that I could experiment on so that I wouldn't screw up my production box. Guess what? Thank you all for your help.
