This didn't sound right when I read it, so I quit mutt, stopped sendmail, fired up pine and sent a message. According to the maillog it was delivered. By default, pine calls sendmail directly and pipes in the message. It only uses SMTP if you set it to do so. Tony - -- Anthony E.
