I was out with some writer friends tonight, and while the Sox have
disappointed their fans in the past, this is the first time I've seen
complete dismay and disconnection from the team in others.

Personally, I feel that I was played somewhat for a fool. It seems that I
cared more about the team than some of the players. But I was surprised to
see this feeling spreading through the fan base.

I suspect we'll break the sell-out streak sometime in April.
