Hi Russ,   Be Careful driving in New York with a scanner. Sec 397 of the V+T Law makes it a misdemeanor to have a radio in your car capable of receiving police transmissions unless you are law enforcement or have a permit. There is a vague clause in the section that was probably intended to exclude hams but it is poorly worded. Some some thing to monitor while I drive <smile> Also any repeaters along the way? I have all the PA, and south stuff ready to dump from my computer to the Bearcat.
