Well you don't have to rely on the subjectivity of your ears. Simply convert from FLAC->WAV (and WMA Lossless->WAV), and check the numbers. If they're the same numbers, then they'll sound the same. Mine were the same. Try a clean disk. If you can still hear a difference, perhaps you've got a setting wrong, or your test has some other difference. If you're asserting that WMA lossless and WMP10 can't get a bit accurate rip, then I know for a fact that this is not true. In fact, on my audiophile setup, I'm hard pressed to tell the difference between my files piped through the squeezebox, and those coming direct from the CD through my cd player.
