I was a Music Collector user until they decided to DROP CDDB SUPPORT. Irconically, if you search through their forums you will see that the reason they dropped it and went to their own database was because of the licensing fees charged by GraceNote. I don't know why they just didn't pass this cost on like other companies do. I now use another product from another vendor and have had an over 95% hit rate with entries in my rather vast collection of CD's. With the Music Collector database I only got about a third......That meant I would have had to manually feed in every track from every album they didn't have - and that was about 600 CD's worth!!! Was a real shame they dropped CDDB (and now CDDB2) as I think their software is superb. CDDB2 also has Liner notes which I'm interested in from a Jazz and Classical perspective. The alternatives cost the same amount of money too......dammit.
