You'll have to decide if the hard disk on the mini is big enough for your music and the other stuff you need. There are many external drives around - Iomega do a Minimax that's designed to sit under the Mac mini. I've a 500Gb version (not to mention a 1TB LaCie NAS that duplicates the music library, and houses DVD images and other data).
