Sorry, thought I was clear that I had error detection and correction set up for each. In EAC I used "secure" mode, "Allow speed reduction during extraction", "Use AccurateRip with this drive". In Plextools I used "Audio Error Detection", "Allow Speed Down" and "5. Recover the best bytes (least errors) per sector". No errors were reported, no slowdowns were required by either program at any time. I've ripped over 1000 cd's using one or both of these programs. I've had quite a few that required the program to slow down and re-read portions of the cd to fix (or try and fix errors). But on this cd that never was the case yet an error still made it's way into the final audio. And cleaning the cd fixed the error. That's the first time I have noticed this. I wonder if some of my other "supposedly" clean rips have small glitches I have not encountered yet? -- SatoriGFX ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SatoriGFX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8852 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55004 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
