The glitch was gone once I cleaned the cd and re-ripped. That's the whole point of my original post. Pre-cleaning, I ripped the cd "twice", once with EAC and the other with Plextools. In both cases no errors were detected at all yet there was a glitch in the audio. After cleaning and re-ripping, no glitch.
