Ah, I thought that you meant that the unregistered trial copy would
revert to "free only" behaviour after the first accurate rip! I think I
understand you now! AR is still working, and ripping will stop at the
first pass if AR validates.  I just had a run of "different pressings"
last night, apparently!

As seen on the dbpoweramp forums (which is probably where I should be
posting this now), I like the silence detection/removal, but would love
it if it could also split into separate tracks.  Even more if it could
work out the title of the hidden track too :-)

I'm starting to play with the HDCD DSP.  Actually re-ripped a few HDCDs
before realising that I could just run the batch converter on my
existing FLACs.  On my system at least, there's quite a lag 'twixt rip
and encode, while hdcd.exe does whatever it does.  Since not all HDCDs
are marked as such, is there a quick (and/or easy) way to tell which of
my FLAC'd albums are HDCD, without having to convert them?

(That said, I've still to find out whether my system and my ears will
reveal any differences...)
