I use(d)Apple loss-less because: 1. I can set itunes to import a disk and eject AND I can use more than one PC at a time to do this. (There may be other ways to do this with FLAC, but I haven't seen any cogent instructions.) 2. I can get artwork from itunes and import it into SC 3. Playback doesn't seem to create a lot of overhead on the SC machine. Be sure to set itunes to use error checking.
