I realize you've already stated how illogical this is, but why are you NOT concerned that corruption of the WAV file, either on disk or during transmission, will cause audible degradation? With FLAC you can rest assured that file corruption can be detected due to the built-in checksum. I've heard what a corrupt WAV file sounds like and you can tell it's bad on a $10 clock radio, let alone a $thousands+ system. -- CatBus ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CatBus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7461 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57706 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
