i dunno. how would one check for this outside of listening to the file?
if a wav becomes corrupted, it's highly likely i'd notice based on your
previous $10 clock radio statement. i've never experienced this. either
way, i'd have to re-rip a corrupted flac file just like i'd have to
re-rip a corrupted wav file. in regard to your inaudible or
barely-audible arugment, i was unaware that corruption had such varying
degrees of finesse. if that's the case, at least you've made the most
cogent argument for flac that i've heard thus far.
