Not incorrect... my "assumption" was off somewhat... :-)

Looking a bit closer I noticed that the issue that I'm having "might"
be caused when DISCNUMBER = 1 and it is translated, as you said, to
DISC = 1 then SqueezeCenter adds (Disc 1) and the end of the Album.
What's strange is that when DISCNUMBER = 1/1 then again, as you said,
DISC = 1, but in this case SqueezeCenter does not add the (DISC 1) at
the end of the album.
I have two Bob Dylan albums... When they were ripped Love Sick, for
some reason, ended up with DISCNUMBER =1 while Modem Times, like the
majority of my albums, has DISCNUMBER = 1/1. (See Pic)

In any case, I still would like the ability to suppress the DISC tag
altogether... I don't want (Disc 1 of x) or (Disc x) displayed next to
my single or multiple CD albums. I should be able to control this via
Format setting that controls how the Now Playing screen is displayed
for any of my players.
