SC recognizes and uses many of the Musicbrainz tags.

Using some plugins, Picard will correctly set TPOS/DISCNUMBER type
tags, as well as fetch album art.

It's annoying when MB doesn't have the actual disc (especially with
Classical, since they are very strict on how to enter data), but that's
the case of freedb type things too.

As for NFLNut's gripes with it: yes, it often thinks single tracks are
from a greatest hits or whatever album.  But you can drag the
misclassified album ontop of the correct album and it will figure it its
mistakes.  Getting the fingerprint attached to the correct album/track
helps others.

I tend to look up the CD with picard while ripping: then when the rip
is done it usually finds the right album to move tracks to, and when it
finds a compilation (or different release) it is easy enough to move
them to the right spot.

Having MB Album/Track ID's on things means I can move stuff around at
will and not confuse TrackStat. :)
