I'm a day or so into my first ever attempt at running flac2mp3 on a 300gb collection.
All seems to be going pretty well - and the stuff already converted to mp3 plays perfectly through Winamp. However, the DOS screen is showing a lot of problem messages. Most of these are to do with Track Tags that are in the "1/23, 2/23 etc" format (though, they still seem to transcode fine, and play fine...). But I am getting occasional ERROR and WARNING messages regarding specific tracks within folders. Checking the Flac original of one that I saw, I hear that the original is in fact faulty (the recording cuts off before the end of the track), and the transcode simply reproduces that fault. So, at the end of what I suspect will be 3 or 4 days of transcoding in one giant batch, will flac2mp3 generate a list of errors and problems for me to go back and investigate?
