FLAC is superior to WAV in so many ways (and I am not talking about
Lossless quality as they are both lossless and bit for bit the same). 

Ease and ability of tagging just for starters. New users and first time
rippers should probably stick with FLAC. Leave WAV to those that think
or feel that they just have to have it.

This is my opinion and from my experience, SO YMMV.
