I think I have my FLAC library pretty much tagged the way I need to: ARTIST: seperate distinct artists listed (where known) ARTISTSORT: only when needed (i.e Pearl Jam - no, but Petty, Tom - yes) ALBUMARTIST: only needed for album artists like "Simon & Garfunkel"
A question on ALBUMARTIST: In a case like Crosby, Stills, and Nash: Would you put in multiple ALBUMARTIST tags for a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young album? One for CSN and one for CSNY? Would it correctly show both albums for CSN, but only the one for CSNY? And for ARTIST, could I input each band member as an artist, ie. Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel for a S&G album, and put the album artist as S&G? On a seperate note, I seem to be ending up with dozens of albums in the "Various Artists" listing at the beginning of Artist View, seemingly whenever SBS detects more than one artist on an album.
