hi MrC,

did u see this:

http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?101129-Question-for-Erland

I don't use jrmc, are you considering making it standalone?

I would like to see dupes detected reported and ordered like this:

the most dupes first, followed by the degree of confidence, and
irrespective of format or other stats.

so if I have "superstition" duped 10 times, and that's the most, that
should be first. and if I have another song 10 times, but at a lower
degree of confidence, that songs set of tem should be the second set
shown.

also, one song should be considered the "baseline" (perhaps at first by
comparing to an online db, and then after by letting the user assign it)
and the degree of confidence for each dupe should be a % listed for each
dupe against that baseline.

I would also like to see the hashs stored as a custom tag in the file,
so it doesn't need recalculated when its done once. and a standalone DB
so rescans are quick, and so it can be taught when its wrong.

:) that'll take you, what, 6, 7 minutes?

Using: Win7 64 and LMS 7.8 & Duet with ipads and the logitech app, and
ipeng on an ipod
