But I don't /ever/ create playlists on the fly. I use pre-built playlists for complete albums, and some home-made playlists that are all built on the PC and then loaded up. This would be something I would never use, and I resent having my usage "broken" in this way! Ok, a bit over-dramatic :-) but there are as many opinions on what a spare button should do as there are users of Rockbox. However many you satisfy with a change like this, there will likely be more people that woudn't have chosen that fixed action to be bound to that button.
