For reasons too complicated to explain at this hour, I doubt I can find a good solution to this one. However I've committed yet another change in how audio previews are drawn. This time I tried caching the previews in pixmaps. It probably raises a ton of other bugs (zooming looks strange, to start with), but at least it's really faster than anything else I've tried before, without being hugely memory hungry (like when I was caching all the preview's rects). Anyway hopefully it's fast enough to make the update-while-recording problem a non-issue. Please report if you see any improvement especially when scrolling with the playback pointer or while selecting segments. -- Guillaume. http://www.telegraph-road.org ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
