OK, I thought libvpx had never been enabled on EL7 and I think that was the main reason it was never upgraded to version 30. I will try find out why we got "no supported decoders found" for libvpx on Mythtv 30 (on EL7) when on Mythtv 29 we have decoders. > Mythtv users that wants newer version should > upgrade to a more modern Base, like CentOS8 or soon Stream 9. Centos 8 don't have libcec (h ttps://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1756170 ) I might to build it without it > Also please remind that most EL end-users literally "hate updates". > > Also if mythtv has bumped support for a newer libvpx, you might also > revert the patch to use a newer API (for el7 only) and revert back to > the API used by el7 libvpx. > That's the "game" with supporting EL anyway where you will have to > rely on older libraries. > > Thx for this work anyway. > _______________________________________________ > rpmfusion-users mailing list -- [email protected] > To unsubscribe send an email to > [email protected] -- Sérgio M.
