I was not the one who offered in the ticket, but
the email from the ticket that Peter should have
gotten about the offer (from Andrew Bauer,
comment 11) was not a sufficient email(*)?  In
that case, perhaps Peter should update the
ticket clarifying what he considers as more
"formal",  as I certainly felt things were waiting
on him, and comment 13 also indicated Andrew
was waiting on Peter.

FWIW, I don't have any real interest in cec
support itself (cec is just too random hit/miss
with all the vendor specific extensions), so I'm
mostly just watching from the peanut gallery.




(*) I am on the CC list, and I got the email,
still have it in my archives, so I presume he
should have gotten it too, but if not I could
forward it to Peter.
