Back in the day when Allen was part of Kalmbach they featured Sam
Powell's layout as well as a 0 scale layout that still used outside
third rail--can't remember the owner's name but he was famous!

At this point we should file a discrimination suite and make them
feature all scales whether they sell or not! In a way we sort of
pioneered the seperatetist (sp) movement with the Herald and S Gaugian
which was a double edged sword. We kept our scale breathing but at the
same time it kept us in our place! Seriously, with all our triumphs and
advantages, we still have perhaps the steepest grade to overcome of all
the scales. Of course the solution (just like our own track check
gauge, S magazines and S conventions) is to do it ourselves, sell it for
a buck or two: mass market it in an effort to reset the market our way!

The downside of this is, that it must be professionally executed and
distributed in the correct way. This is not the place for the typical
U-Tube, SnS trains type productions. Allen Keller Productions and the
folks at Tracks Ahead do a nice job but they have to earn their living
from those productions.

Oh boy! Oh Boy! (from the American Flyer Boys Club ads)
