I belong to the Trinity Express S Scalers in the DFW area, TX.  We have people
come up to our large modular setup and are surprised it is S.  I went to an
area train council meeting and have members tell me that if they didn't have so
much in X scale they would convert.

We need to stop quibbling and get serious.  We all know we have the right size,
especially with our aging eyes.

To the great unwashed... Once exposed to the S germ, they eventually catch
on.

So Allen Keller's experience is pretty much the same as mine -- S scale is a
hard sell. Cheers....Ed L.
