Hi Ed --

Still too soon to call on this issue. As I have a couple of days off, I
will see what answers I really get. All I can say for sure at this moment
is that I have NO traction tires on any of my locos.

Caught a cold somehow (or it caught me), so I am not moving very fast right
now. Glad you didn't give me another easy opportunity like the "from
another planet" of a while back...

Get back to you,
Bill

the basic question remains unanswered. Why is it that two
locos -- steam, diesel, electric, whatever, etc. -- with the same
weight and same number of drivers have a different drawbar pull? I'm
still not sure of what to make of this situation. Did both locos have
powered wheels made of the same material? Was only one loco sprung or
equalized? Did a sudden wind come up? Rubber traction tires?

My mind is going nutz.
Cheers...Ed L.
