With that said, I have to ask if you have tried to mount Kadee couplers (I
assume you are using the S scale Kadee (802 or 808) and not an HO Kadee
coupler) on the SHS ore cars (as seen at the link below)? If so, with what
success?

I have not tried installing a Kadee 802 or 808 on these cars, but I suspect
there will be some issue with the wheels contacting the draft gear box. Maybe
someone else out there has tried this and can write about their results.

I've used Kadees in all the available scales and have found the S version to
be my favorite as it comes with a nice little selection of screws.... ... I've
never yet found a car that I couldn't figure out how to mount them on...
