Perhaps... but I was under the impression that the SHS couplers were designed for the rear of the F-unit diesels...?

That they also work for certain other applications is frosting on the cake: for instance, they were just what I needed for my Penn Heritage (ex-Steam Depot) 44-tonner, where the Kadees would have projected too far beyond the pilot.
