Re: the backing up videos – an interesting concept. I have backed up 25 car trains, but with 2+% ruling grades in one direction, the weight of the train becomes a big player in staying on the track (I have had some light cars get pushed off the rails going DOWNhill! – They are not so light any more). There are times I think the tender is going to be the weak link, so to speak. I think Ed L.’s layout has less steep grades... While I will not volunteer to work on your track, I really do want to get to Houston and visit with you and Peter V., and maybe others in the area. We’ll see how the time and money go... Have fun!
