Nobody seems to be mentioning he P64 SIG. They have established wheel profile standards (which inexplicably vary from scaled down prototype dimensions).

I don't have any to measure but it looks like Proto wheels for S scale should be code 87 based on HO and O proto dimensions? As long as you are buying new wheels anyway if you get true proto flanged wheels you can then use true scale sized frogs and point spacing and tighten up everything, it's a lot easier to build proto track than track for larger flanges ...DaveBranum
