Does anyone have experience running Sambar Server on a low-power processor? How do you like it?
Thanks to everyone for the responses! I think people read my question as being about low-power in terms of megahertz, but I was thinking of watts and/or units of heat. I'd like to be able to lower my electric bill, or maybe switch to a passive (fanless) CPU cooler. I seem to recall K6s as running notoriously hot, and dual Pentiums aren't likely to use less power than a single Celeron (though dual processors is another intriguing idea, just for different reasons). I may be wrong, though. I'll see if I can find specs for how much electricity those processors use.
