I think you are looking at the wrong source of savings, Unless you have
several computers running.  My electric rate is at 7 cents per KwH, That's
average. Some are 5 and some are 9.  But my point is at that rate. A
computer that draws 100 Watts consumes ($1.18) one dollar and 18 cents per
Week to run if left on 24/7 (not including any heat load added to the room)

Thanks to everyone for the responses!  I think people read my question
as being about low-power in terms of megahertz, but I was thinking of
watts and/or units of heat.  I'd like to be able to lower my electric
bill, or maybe switch to a passive (fanless) CPU cooler.  I seem to
recall K6s as running notoriously hot, and dual Pentiums aren't likely
to use less power than a single Celeron (though dual processors is
another intriguing idea, just for different reasons).  I may be wrong,
though.  I'll see if I can find specs for how much electricity those
processors use.
