Follow-up Comment #10, bug #2168 (project savane):
The erroneous information could be removed by allowing people to desactivate
the viewcvs link.
It is quite difficult to find the link to browse the web cvs (involves
specifying a viewcvs category), it causes several project to lack this
information for various reasons.
It is not important if a project let the link active while he uses another
location - usually it's clear that the content does not match, if used at all
- there's no guarantee anyway that the webcvs is actually used for the
webpages. Again, the link can be desactivated. I am not talking anymore about
aliases.
Whatever you decide, please, consider that missing that link is in this case
way more inconvenient than having a wrong link.
