Well, since after 3 years, I never had a chance to access the GNU mail 
server, despite my regular requests (that have never been addressed :
no approval, no refusal), despite the fact that I was willing to fix
trivial issue that the sysadmin had no time to do (and so was doing
only after a delay of a month or more, something acceptable only for
very very patient users), I cant say much about how it works
there. Finally, we always get back to the same issue: tied hands never
helped.

Well, I think there is a script called mailing_list_create.pl or,
something like that, running on the mail server, some code that haven't
gone public, God only knows why, and probably do what sv_mailman does.
