That sounds like a good reason. I'm granting you access to the repository, you can fix it by yourself if you feel like it ;) > I was able to import translations from Savane v3 with msgmerge, but I found > out that some translated strings from v3 can be, IMO, "improved". [*] What I did was: cp ...savane3/fr.po locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/django.po ./manage.py makemessages -l fr I suspect it runs 'msgmerge' internaly, not sure if one method is better. > Do you want me to "improve" [*] the Savane v3 translation, and then work on > the translation for the new version? or I focus only on the new version?. > > [*] Maybe who did the translation is from Latin America. I just realized that only 'Savane Cleanup' (not Savane 3) has a Spanish translation - did you get it from there? (now /me search where I got this translation from) Ah, this was done Gonzalo for a university, but I don't know which country. At that time he wrote that the translation probably needs review and some changes, so feel free to do it :) You may want to tell him you're improving on his job (I don't think he plans to update the translation but he'll probably be pleased to know). Working on the Savane3 or the new catalog is up to you. Currently the new catalog is still smallish, so once you've translated it you could update Savane3 too :) By the way, you need not translate the templates/registration/password_* files, as they are derived from Django files and translated there (but you still can). -- Sylvain _______________________________________________ Savane-dev mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/savane-dev
