Follow-up Comment #10, sr #711 (project savane):
Futher php.ini tests:
If I change register_long_arrays back to Off, register_argc_argv On and
magic_quotes_gpc On, then I can no longer edit any Tracker items, and new
ones show up with no Summary and revert to their default values.
If I change register_argc_argv back to Off (and the other two On), I can edit
and create Tracker items.
If I change magic_quotes_gpc back to Off, leave register_argc_argv Off. and
register_long_arrays On, I can edit and create Tracker items. But, if the
Original Submission field contains a single quote (') character, an error is
reported and the Tracker item is not created.
So, we know that for PHP5, register_long_array Must be set to "On", that
magic_quotes_gpc MUST be set to "On", and that register_argc_argv SEEMS to
have no effect on any of this.
And I still can't turn on the Bugs Tracker, nor are any This Group Active
Features items available for the default group, nor can I change any of the
This Group Active Features other than "Mailing List".
What should we try next?
PS: Is your locally installed Savane no longer \-escaping quotes in the
Comment/Original Submission fields? Test:
