Albert's advice was correct except for the tone it was delivered in. I
can understand why he used that tone, you Scott, have managed to piss
off quite a few people on the mailing list and not all of them 'grumpy
old linux guys'.

If you want help -- ask and you will be answered. In the open source
community such declarations as yours usually receive only cat calls and
more insults. Unprofessional -- I know, but on the other hand, why
insult the people who are the ones that can help you?

The only thing you managed to achieve now is to be tagged as a nuisance
and your original reasonable question totally forgotten.

Besides, you did get a reasonable reply from Brian and due to your
spamfilter had it mislaid. I suggest you answer his questions and ask
the following *technical* ones and stop this whole circus.
