Re: [Emc-users] Reset of offsets after running program
Andy, > Is there anyway to add this as a feature? > > Andy > This is from EMC1 interpreter experience, so some terms may have changed. The ini file access point for the interpreter (in EMC2) was at one point in rs274ngc_pre.cc, where you should find a function like "ini_load(const char *filename)" which grabs the interpreter related ini stuff. Declare the variable in canon.hh, and copy/paste the existing parameter grab in the ini_load() function and modify it to get/test the ini variable you've created. To remove the M02 effects, look at convert_stop, in the interp_convert.cc file. A simple if (!your_ini_flag_variable){m02_code_here} around the m02 conditional code should do the trick for what I think you're asking. Hi Fabricio, you don't give a lot of details about the situation that is giving you trouble so I am making a bit of a guess. If you need to go to exactly the endpoints of every segment and you want to avoid rounded corners (blending) where the segments join, you can specify exact path mode with G61. - This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML. [Emc-users] homing
Gentlemen, I have uploaded a picture to imagebin. The name of the picture is stustev. This is a screen shot of the feedback from the homing cycle of my machine. I am using ppmc boards and EMC2-head. The machine moves positive to the home switch. I have the latch velocity set very low. The machine reverses direction. The machine display sets to zero and counts very slow. The machine will stop momentarily. The display will set to a number that seems to be the disance to the start up position. The machine then moves to the start up position. (display zero) The display turns green. Take a look at the screen shot. [Emc-users] why does the spindle signal not get droped when EMC2 goes into e stop?
when I put EMC2 into estop from halui the spindle signal stays true and the coolant signals goes false. the trouble is I can not clear the signal to the spindle until I'm out of estop and the spindle stays running. why does the coolant get dropped and not the spindle signal with it? what is the criteria for EMC2 to put itself into estop is it only limit switches? can this be a problem or should I not be concerned? one more question I used (halui.program.run) for a run program hardware button and the halui run button will not work now. can it be tied to both, or does it create duplicate signals, and it's one or the other? The OS is Ubuntu 6.06...the same I use at home. This is the computer I use at university, so I cannot check other things right now because I'm not there, I can try other things tomorrow and will let you know what happened. the PC is a P4 on a ASUS P5VD2-MX SE motherboard with 512 Mb RAM.
