I.e., commenting on Barry's fanatical obsession with Robin. Yes, sometimes I
stay up late and have a quick look at FFL before packing it in for the night.
This time I found Barry's idiotic post freaking out at the idea that Robin
might come back to FFL. I thought I'd relieve his mind by making sure he knew
Robin was never coming back. Didn't help, though, because this morning he's
still obsessing.

Robin posting to FFL seemed to really upset Ravi. Go figure.

Given an estimated 12-hour posting day, that's 2.8 posts per hour. Are
we looking at another record posting week for the Judester? :-)

Then again, look on the bright side. Maybe she'll follow her cult
leader's lead and post a 13,000-word manifesto *demanding* that people
argue with her...or else. And we all know what comes after that.
Something to look forward to...

Um, doesn't seem to be happenng that nobody wants to argue with me, does it?

Oh, dear, oh, dear, when are people going to begin to catch on?

When is Barry going to catch on, for that matter? Anybody notice how many of
his posts recently have been attempts to provoke me into arguing (including
this one)?

(Barry has been despondent because my post counts in recent weeks have been
way too low for him to make a fuss about, so he's going to go wild with this
one to make up for it.)

BTW, Barry, (a) Robin's cult leader days were over decades ago; and (b) he
never wrote a 13,000-word manifesto *demanding* that people argue with him.
You really, really need to get a handle on your obsessive, paranoid fantasies.

What is she going to do when *no one* falls for her tarbaby act any more,

sucked into an argument with her just because she wants one?

It takes only a few seconds to read and respond to a message posted to
FFL, since most of them don't amount to very much anyway. If you want
you could respond to each and every post in real-time by setting your
email client to sound a beep sound alerting you to new mail - that way,
you could respond in a more timely manner to all the queries and
untruths that are posted. Go figure.

It takes only a few minutes to read even a long post like Robin posted.
If you've got a broadband connection and a good email client like
Thunderbird anyone could post hundreds of messages a day to various
discussion groups. It's not complicated to be a nerd top-poster. You
could do it if you could just put more focus into it and concentrate on
what you are doing. Try to F O C U S, Barry.

All you need to do is get yourself situated in your bedroom upstairs
with your laptop and a few dogs or cats and you could be reading the
internet all day and night too. Or, just get employment in a job where
you are at a computer connected to the internet all day and you could do
some multi-tasking while you are coding or editing, maybe switching
windows up and down. A really dedicated nerd-poster would have two
computer monitors hooked up so as to have a dedicated screen just to
monitor all the posts sent to FFL.

However, if you want to be a serious informant to a discussion group,
you would be working at home out of a home office near the ocean with a
window you can look out of to see the sea. You could take some bathroom
breaks if you take your smart phone with you, or if you wanted to take a
city bus to a store to get some supplies, you could take a tablet with
you if you wanted to. It's all a matter of positioning and placement.

In fact, Robin was one of the more gentlemanly FFL posters. But Stevie and
Barry are right up there at the top of the boor list. (Oh, and Richard, but
nobody pays much attention to him except Share, who is herself no slouch in the
boor department.)
