My e-mail did not contain any complaints, I totally respect your work 
and professionalism and I wonder how one could mistake a very ordinary 
mail for an attempt to discredit your work. That totally wasn't the 
intention...

this list not to argue, but to move the project forward.

Its very annoying  to me that both of you tell me now, a week after the
files was removed !!. I wrote about my intention to remove 3.4, I waited
for lazy consensus, then I waited for a longer period. In fact the files
have been available a little more than a month since I proposed to remove
3.4 first time).

Before I finally removed the files, of course, being who I am, I made sure
that they were on the backup system.

I do my work professionally, use the decision systems we have in place, and
dont like these kind of complains, which only purpose seems to be to
highlight how good the complainers are, compared to my "bad" work.

This attitude together with the lack of support to admins trying to run the
servers professionally (ref. forum server), its clear to me that I am the
wrong person to this job.

I am aware it is easier to complain than to do anything, but I seriously
wonder why the complainer did not copy the files themselves or at least
came with an alternative proposal (files have been sitting SEVERAL weeks on
the filesystem, so thats no reason for a complaint).

its high time, we as community decide, if we want to have poorly maintained
playgrounds or prof. cared for servers.

The servers are now in a good state (a lot better than when I started), so
I can leave the maintenance with a good conscience, step down, and let
those who complain do a much better job.

won't be confused).


As for saving, I didn't mean that 3.4 PO files should be preserved for 
eternity, but just that we keep them for a few weeks on the Pootle 
machine's filesystem, with no commitment (even with no backup), as a 
convenience in case volunteers ask for them or in case Juergen needs 
them for the "merge" he was mentioning (but the "merge" maybe has 
already been done, since Bulgarian is enabled for 4.0 and progressing 
very well, and for Indonesian we have a 4.0 project and new volunteers).

work done on 3.4 when he created 4.0:

released in 4.0, so no problem.


Changes in Thai should, if possible, be saved as done for Lithuanian.

really need to get rid of the 3.4 projects), only that PO files should

Hi

please be aware that any changes made in the 3.4.x and 3.4.x help projects
on pootle are lost.

The changes in these projects will not be updated in the source tree, since
we are currently not planning any new 3.4 releases.

user Christos have made changes in greek.
user jteera have made changes in thai.

The projects are about to be deleted from the server (when pootle does as I
want it to do).
